WDO Home Inspections
While buildings may become infested at any time, termites are of particular importance when buying, selling, or refinancing a structure, and receiving a "clear" certification is often a condition required by a lender. The purpose of a WDO inspection, commonly called a "termite inspection" is to look for any signs of visibly accessible evidence of termites or other wood destroying organism such as wood borers or wood decaying fungi (and conditions conductive thereto) that may be present in the structure. Often times there will be no obvious indication to the untrained eye that a structure is infested or vulnerable.
